Cookies and local storage
Effective 8 October 2026
Your language and display choices, optional remembering and removing saved preferences.
1. Operator and contact
The website operator is Sihtasutus Gospelmeedia, registry code 90016565. Contact Vaido Palmik at vpalmik@gmail.com with questions.
2. What this website stores
The GospelMeedia website’s application code does not set HTTP cookies or use analytics, advertising or tracking pixels. The photo gallery does not load external video players or social media embeds.
If you choose, we use your browser’s local storage, localStorage, to remember language and display preferences. It is not an HTTP cookie: it is not automatically transmitted with every web request, and our script does not send it to a server. The familiar label Cookie settings also covers this local storage.
3. The preferences record
- Name
gospelmeedia-preferences-v11- Type
- Browser local storage (localStorage).
- Purpose
- Remembering language, text size, colours, motion and reading layout.
- Contents
- The selected language, display preferences, permission to remember, data-format version and expiry time. No name, email address, photo-viewing history or advertising identifier is included.
- Lifetime
- Up to 180 days from permission. Ordinary page views and display changes do not renew this period.
- Default
- Off. The record is created only after you choose remembering and save.
The website script checks expiry on your next visit. An expired record is not applied and is removed. If you do not visit again, an expired record may remain in the browser until its site data is cleared.
4. Giving and withdrawing permission
Open Cookie settings in the footer, switch on Remember language and display preferences, then select Save choice. Without permission, choices work on the current page but may not persist on a later visit.
To withdraw, select Continue without saving, or switch remembering off and save. The website removes its preferences record and an older display-preferences record if present. It does not clear other applications’ records. Declining storage does not prevent website use.
Permission concerns this browser and website address only. You can choose separately in another browser or device. You can also remove preferences through your browser’s site-data controls.
5. Technical caching and external services
Your browser may store page files, images and styles in its normal cache. This is a separate mechanism controlled by the browser and web server caching rules. Withdrawing preference storage does not clear the entire browser cache.
Opening your email application or an external website linked in the privacy information brings that service’s own storage and privacy rules into effect. Our preference switch does not consent to third-party tracking.
6. Changes and further information
If we introduce new optional storage or tracking technologies, we will describe them here and request consent where required. There are currently no analytics or advertising records needing separate switches.
Read our Privacy Policy for personal data use and your rights.
